Pain Specialist, P.A. was established by its Medical Director: Morris Antebi, M.D. in 1992. From inception, the emphasis was to provide patient center, evidence-based care of the highest quality to patients with chronic pain condition.

Today, Pain Specialist, P.A., with offices in four locations, is one of the busiest pain practices in the state of New Jersey. The scope of our practice has been broadened to include caring for patients with mental health, addiction problems, and osteoporosis.

In the chronic pain field, we care for patients with:

• Post-herpetic neuralgia
• Diabetic neuropathies

In the field of addiction medicine, we help persons who are dependent on narcotics. Among other treatment modalities, we offer Suboxone treatment.

For patients with other chemical dependence issues, we offer counseling and when necessary, medications to help them overcome the substance they are addicted to.

Morris E Antebi, M.D., finished his residency program in the field of Anesthesiology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. After that, he was the chairman of anesthesia department at Ozarks Medical Center in Missouri and then, the chairman of anesthesia department at Cape Regional Medical Center before becoming the medical director of Pain Specialists.

In addition to his very busy schedule, Dr. Antebi is a community leader being the president of a synagogue. His other hobbies are reading, travelling, and hiking.
